HR staffing plan questions

Hello, I have searched the forum for my keywords and the “similar to” box without finding my topic previously covered. I am not so experienced with this so please accept my apologies if this is too basic.

I am helping my HR team move off a horrid excel to do recruiting workflow in Frappe. I have created a small fantasy company with 4 depts, staffing plan for 8 positions of which 2 are defined as open jobs.

2 questions if someone has any guidance please

  1. I have not seen how to edit a staffing plan to add roles
  2. For the real org (200+ heads over 8 departments and 30 designations) can this be done by an upload from excel … I hope its not necessary to create all of that manually?
