I generated Salary Slips this month after having installed print_designer and changing the PDF generator for the Salary Slip doctype’s default print format to “chrome”. When the emails were automatically sent after submitting the salary slips, the formatting was strange, which made me try generating it with different formats to see which one was being used. The PDF in the email ended up being the default print format for the doctype. But the oddity I was seeing was identical only to when the print format’s PDF generator was set to wkhtmltopdf. Is this hard-coded and not able to fetch the PDF generator from the print format?
