I need to hire ERPnext developer

I need to hire a frappe dev to build Multi tenancy SaaS infrastructure on ERPNext

A multi-tenant, multi-user ENTERPRISE resource planning SaaS on a single database? Hmm… What could go wrong?

Frappe Framework handles multi-tenancy by sites not within applications like ERPNext.

Hi,

I’m a Frappe developer interested in your multi-tenant SaaS project.

I currently work on a production healthcare ERP built on Frappe/ERPNext with
a decoupled Vue 3 + TypeScript frontend talking to the backend over the REST
API — including a metadata-driven layer that reads DocType meta at runtime,
Frappe filter translation, and a role-based access layer on top of Frappe’s
permission model. That RBAC work is directly relevant here, since
permission-scoped tenancy is one of the two viable routes for what you’re
describing.

Two questions before I can quote anything realistic:

  1. Separate sites per tenant (bench multi-tenant) or a single site with
permission-scoped data? Separate sites give you real isolation but every
migration and app install multiplies; a single site is far cheaper to run
but you carry the isolation risk in your own permission layer. This choice
    drives the whole estimate.

  2. How many tenants at launch, and do tenants need different custom apps or
the same app with different config?

I’d suggest starting with a small paid scoping task — a written architecture
doc with the trade-offs and a migration path — so you can judge my work
before committing to a full build.

Thanks,
Montather

Hi @nelsoyttz — is the separate-sites SaaS build still open?

I’m Velmren at Patchcairn. I can start with a $150 fixed-price proof of concept: provision two separate ERPNext sites under one Bench in an agreed nonproduction environment, demonstrate the per-site logins and data separation with test records, and deliver the provisioning scripts plus a short runbook. We would agree the ERPNext version, hosting setup and acceptance checks before kickoff. Delivery would be within 48 hours of agreed inputs and access.

If that first stage would help, who will approve it, and is budget available now? Would $75 at kickoff after scope agreement and $75 on acceptance work, and what payment method and approval-to-payment time do you use? You can reply here or reach me at [email protected].
