I want to customize heading of my transactions like purchase order, sales order etc

You can create print headings in system and fetch the same in
transaction to customize print format of document.

Navigation:
Setup → General → Print heading

Dear Umair,

Can you please elaborate on this print heading. I have created a print
heading and now I don’t know what to do with it.
Basically what I am looking at that all my documents which are printed
are using one basic header so can you let me know how is it done in
detail?

Also I would like to know how to change the printing formats of the
Quotations, Sales Orders etc?

What you want is a Letter Head

You can go to Setup -> Personalize and upload / set your letter head
