I wish to scan price embedded barcodes produced by a label printing scale

Firstly as a new user can I say thank you to all the people that have been involved with the creation and work behind ERP Next. I want to implement embedded barcode from label printing machine. This would seem to make sense as an EAN13 price embedded barcode is described as:
first 2 digits = category
next 5 digits = product code
next 5 digits = price
13th digit = checksum

Can this be implemented?

Welcome to forum, and thanks for the kind words.

For now, the feature of extracting value from a single field and updating in various different field is not available out of the box. Perhaps you can try:

  1. Segregting Barcode value in the spreadsheet file.
  2. Downlod template for importing items into ERPNext.
  3. Enter segregated value in the template.
  4. Import items into excel file.
