Image Upload Slow for documents

Hi Everyone,
Image upload on a document is slow hence slowing down some of our business processes which require image upload. Looking for solutions/ideas on how image upload can be performed in the background, while allowing the document to be saved so that person entering the document does not have to wait until the image upload has finished OR any different solution to my problem!

As well a search on ‘background’ plus ‘report’ ‘worker’ ‘scheduler’ will help inform you for eg Functions executed in background often gets stale document from frappe.get_doc/reload
