Import Customs Tariff Numbers

When importing Items if a Customs Tariff Number is specified that has not already been entered in the system it will give an error importing that item:

  • Customs Tariff Number: Value 8511.11 missing for Customs Tariff Number

So if I need to get the tariff numbers all set up first, how do I import a list of Customs Tariff Numbers? That isn’t an option for Document Type when I do New Data Import. Thanks.

Hi,

Go to Custom Tariff Number Doctype and Click on Three Dots → Customize and tick "Allow Import (via Data Import Tool).

Update the Doctype and Reload the session (Ctrl + F5).

Thanks, before I posted I had figured out to check the Allow Import box and reloaded the browser session just by doing Ctrl-R, but the Customs Tariff Number didn’t show as a choice in the Data Import Tool. I didn’t realize I needed to do the more full session reload. Once I did that it worked. Thanks for the help.
