Income tax deduction on Payslip from Timesheet

Can someone tell me if ERPNext can generate payslips with income tax deduction based on the income tax slab, when the payslip is generated from timesheets? (We pay employees by the hour worked).

Here are the steps I am following but I can’t get it to work correctly. I am probably doing something wrong in one of the steps, I hope somebody can help me figure it out:

  1. Enter tax table in Income Tax Slab
  2. Create salary structure
  3. Assign salary structure to employee
  4. Create timesheet
  5. Generate payslip from timesheet

The payslip generates, but only has the gross income and nothing for income tax deduction.
