I am currently generating payroll and have completed the following steps:
- Created an employee and configured the salary components.
- Prepared a salary structure with earnings (e.g., Basic, House Rent, Medical) and deductions (e.g., Income Tax).
- Assigned the salary structure to the employee.
- Created a Salary Structure Assignment and verified the calculations in the Salary Slip Preview, where everything appears accurate.
However, when I generate the Payroll Entry and create the Salary Slip, the Income Tax is not being calculated automatically. I also add an attachment.
Could you please help identify the cause of this issue and guide me on resolving it?
