Incomplete "New Stock Entry" created when submitting a partially completed Work Order

If I add an Operation to the BOM, then Work Order does not complete properly. If I don’t add any Operation in BOM, everything works as expected. Details-

  1. I created a Work Order with 100 Quantity to Manufacture.
  2. A Job Card was automatically created. On any given day, say, 20 items were manufactured out of 100. Then I save and close the Job Card with the Quantity of Manufacture set as 20.
  3. Then I open the Work Order and Finish it. I enter the quantity of Manufacture as 20, so that I can resume this work order tomorrow, by creating a new Job Card for the remaining 80 quantity.
  4. As I submit the Work Order with partial quantity manufactured, it opens a New Stock Entry. In the table, only the raw material transferred from the store is shown correctly. While the Finished Good Quantity of 20 is missing. On submitted I get the error as shown in screenshot.
  5. As a result I cannot transfer the daily production of 20 quantity to the Finished Goods Store.
  6. This problem does not occur when there is no Operation listed in the BOM.

Please help.

To put it simply, if the stock entry type is “Manufacture,” then a finished goods item must be included. Without a finished goods item, you won’t be able to submit the stock entry.

Agree. The stock entry is working as expected. The finished good item row is not getting auto populated as it does usually, when I submit a 100% completed work order.
