We have a shoe company, and we are facing a challenge in managing both wholesale and retail sales simultaneously using ERPNext.
We have a main warehouse that sells to branches both wholesale and retail in cartons. We sell the same products in both wholesale and retail, but with different sales approaches:
In retail: We sell shoes based on size and color.
In wholesale: We sell in cartons, where each carton contains various sizes and colors of shoes.
We do not want to use the “product bundles” approach, as it is quite complex and requires defining every size and color as a separate item, then grouping them in a carton, which makes management cumbersome.
Is there a solution within ERPNext that can be customized to simplify the wholesale and retail sales process without needing to define every size and color as a separate product?
Any ideas or experiences from companies working in the shoe industry with a similar setup would be greatly appreciated.
