Inquiry About ERPNext’s Current Community Contribution Policy

Hi ERPNext team,

I’m a third-year Computer Science student interested in contributing meaningful bug fixes to the Projects & Tasks module.

I noticed the notice that community pull requests are temporarily not being accepted. Is this restriction still active? If so, is there an approved way for external contributors to work on and submit verified bug fixes?

I’d like to understand the codebase, reproduce a real issue, implement a fix, and add appropriate tests. I want to make sure I’m following the project’s current contribution process before starting.

We are currently not accepting community PRs. You are always welcome to create a GitHub issue and link your fork’s branch using which maintainers can create PRs with your commits.
