Install php to environment

i have a script i don’t want to rewrite it in python , so i think to use it as api
and call it with ajax , i installed php to my environment with: sudo apt-get install php-fpm php-mysql
yet php doesn’t work on my site

I installed in Espo CRM along with ERPNext as per client requirement. Espo CRM developed in PHP and installed Apache server.
