Inter DocType workflow, ie DocType1:State4 transitions to DocType2:State1

Hello all

I cannot imagine that no one had come across the problem of inter-document workflow as yet. And I’m very keen to know how you’ve solved it.

How do I define a workflow such that DocType1:State4 triggers/transitions to DocType2:State1. Currently we solve this with an external process engine, but I’m sure other users must’ve come across this same problem and solved it differently. Please share your ideas.

Mind to share which externale engine you are using? How is it connected to frappe/erpnext?

We use the APIs of ERPNext to integrate with Camunda ( https://camunda.com/)
