Consider integrating Frappe HelpDesk so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You’ll want to make customizations to better integrate the separate DB of HelpDesk. I’ve added some scripts to auto create HelpDesk customer when creating an ERP customer and some other minor tweaks.
I love hearing about MikroTik users. For managing numerous MikroTik gear, consider UNIMUS.
I completely agree about leveraging existing Frappe applications instead of rebuilding functionality from scratch. My plan is to use ERPNext as the core ERP and integrate Frappe HelpDesk for ticketing and customer support, adding ISP-specific workflows where needed. Your approach of automatically creating a HelpDesk customer from an ERPNext customer sounds like a great idea and could save a lot of manual work.
Thanks for mentioning UNIMUS as well. I’ll definitely take a closer look. My long-term goal is to build a complete ISP Operations Suite around ERPNext that integrates with MikroTik, FreeRADIUS, GPON/OLT devices, billing, CRM, inventory, and HelpDesk while minimizing duplicated functionality.

Thank you for the valuable feedback on my previous discussion. Based on the suggestions—especially around leveraging Frappe HelpDesk instead of rebuilding existing functionality—I’ve refined the vision for this project.
I’m building Teztel ISP, an ERPNext/Frappe application designed specifically for Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The goal is to extend ERPNext with ISP-specific functionality while reusing the excellent capabilities already available in the Frappe ecosystem.
Vision
Rather than creating another standalone ISP billing system, ISPNext aims to provide a complete Business Support System (BSS) and Operations Support System (OSS) by combining ERPNext with ISP-focused modules.

Technical Approach
The objective is to build this as a separate Frappe app that integrates with ERPNext instead of modifying ERPNext core. This should make upgrades easier and allow the ISP functionality to evolve independently.

Marketplace & Community
I would like to make ISPNext a reusable application for the ERPNext ecosystem. I’m also interested in understanding the best approach for future distribution, whether through the Frappe Marketplace (if applicable) or as an independently maintained commercial/open-source app.
I understand this is not an official ERPNext module. My goal is to build a high-quality community application that integrates well with ERPNext and follows best practices.
