I am using the develop branch. It seems the is_custom field is read-only and ticket by default while creating a new custom doctype. The site is already set to develop mode. How to disable this?

If your site has the develop mode enabled, try to ‘refresh’ Frappe. It should make the is_custom editable.
Else you might have an issue with your develop mode configuration.
