Is the forum working? Having trouble replying to messages

Every time I try to save a reply I get an endless “Saving” message and it never completes.

Is something wrong or have I maybe been banned?!?

Here is what I am getting when attempting to reply to another topic:

Ok, I have narrowed it down to the forum editor choking on forward and reverse slash characters. When I try to use them to explain file locations, the edits will not save.

It actually will allow one or two slashes, but if you attempt to add another line to the edit it fails. There may also be other characters not working, but this is just the first one I have tripped over. It took me a long time to figure out what was causing the failed edits.

Any ideas how to fix this?

It is apparently no longer possible to display code on the forum that includes directory designations.
