Is there any way to go back to previous state in workflow?

Hello.
The way workflow works are once the state is approved or rejected, it moves on to the next state. What if someone approves or rejects a workflow by mistake? can we go back to the previous state?

Is it possible to revoke the state through any customization?

Sure, just create another workflow action that moves back from B → A.
