Hi Everyone,
I noticed one thing in Bill of Material and I think it is a bug, please correct me if I am wrong.
I created a BOM say:
BOM-940-000101-001
BOM Items:
610-001002
750-001005
Another BOM:
BOM-950-100001-001
BOM Items:
410-000540
415-110011
940-000101
Now the BOM, BOM-950-100001-001 clearly tells that the 940-000101 is a Sub-Assembly used in the BOM.
So the Exploded BOM of BOM-950-100001-001 Will Show:
410-000540
415-110011
610-001002
750-001005
Now, I created one another BOM,
BOM-960-100001-001
BOM Items:
110-001001
950-100001
So the Exploded BOM of BOM-960-100001-001 Will Show:
410-000540
415-110011
610-001002
750-001005
110-001001
Now, my after submitting both the BOM’s I realized that 610-001002 cannot be a part of BOM-940-000101-001, so I opened the BOM and revised it.
The BOM became:
BOM-940-000101-002
BOM Items:
750-001005
After that, I used BOM Replace Tool and Replaced
BOM-940-000101-001 with BOM-940-000101-002, and it got replaced.
Now, the issue comes here, when I see the Exploded BOM of
BOM-950-100001-001 It Shows:
410-000540
415-110011
750-001005
where 610-001002 is not a Raw Material in the Exploded BOM.
Whereas when I see the Exploded BOM of BOM-960-100001-001
It Shows:
410-000540
415-110011
610-001002
750-001005
110-001001
I mean, it still shows that 610-001002 is a Raw Material used in the Exploded BOM.
