Issue with role permission

I am encountering a problem with role permissions. I have created a role called “Application Staff,” which should only have write permissions for the “Application” doctype. However, users assigned to this role can read, write, and perform actions on all doctypes, not just the “Application” doctype.

No, as per the image you give all rights to the application doctype.

this is what the permissions i have given but now the application staff is able to create and edit student doctypes which is restricted for the application staff
