Item management use case scenario

A wholesaler is running a biscuit selling business. consider the following image the wholesaler purchase the items in the form of item2 and item3. but he is selling items in the form item1, item2 and item 3.

kindly if some body explains how to create these items and how to manage stock as there is no items purchased in form item1.

You could potentially use Stock Entry (type of Repack) to handle this scenario.

Ok i check the stock entry and read the documentation but confused to understand how differentiate between input item and output item on stock entry repack page

you can use bill of material too.
setting your package for item2, item3 and you can use anytime you want to use that.

I think you also consider the use of different UOM. It is basically a different SKU.

You can set “Pkt” as a default UOM and also define custom UOMs like “12 Pkt Bundle”, and “18 Pkt Bundle”. Also, specify conversions under UOM conversion table like
“12 Pkt Bundle” = 12, “18 Pkt Bundle” =18 etc.

You can sale in any of UOM and the system will automatically calculate the rate and amount as per UOM conversion configuration.
