Item variant code update on attribute code change

Hi,

Once item variants have been created with certain attributes (e.g. “Shirt-BLACK”), if I change the colour attribute code to BLK from BLACK, can it automatically update the item code to “Shirt-BLK”?

Sorry as this is not configurable for now. Please rename Item Code manually. Will be great if you could add this suggestion as a Github Issue.
