Does anyone know why I have received this error since the period closing voucher is set for 2023, I’ve checked the period start date and end. And in fiscal year 2024 is enabled. Thanks
This error happens because an “Opening Entry” can’t be created after the company’s financial books have been closed for a period. When a “Period Closing Voucher” is submitted, it means the accounts for that period are finalized, and no new entries should be added for that time. If you try to make an entry with a date within a closed period, It will stop it and show this error to prevent any changes to the closed books. This ensures the financial records remain accurate and don’t change after being finalized.

Thank you @NCP . But the financial books closed period is 2023 and my opening entry is July 2024. Why am I receiving an error?
