Job Card WIP Warehouses from Workstation

I have some Workstations which have a warehouse set, and some which do not.

In my Work Order, I have to have a Work-in-Progress Warehouse set. When this Work Order is submitted, all the created Job Cards use the WO’s W-i-P warehouse, even if the operation’s Workstation has a different warehouse set.

If an operation row has a different source warehouse and finished good warehouse in my WO, the Job Card will use that over the WO’s source & target warehouses. Is the WO W-i-P warehouse meant to behave inconsistently like this?.

Are you transferring material against job cards? if yes then system will read warehouses particularly from each raw material line item.

Otherwise work order header warehouses will take up.

Yes I have the BOM & Work Order set to transfer materials against job cards:

And the workstation has its warehouse set:

Yet on the first job card:

The workstation’s warehouse is not used.
