Job Work Costing

Hi, I just wanted to know if the below scenario is possible in ERPNext :

Sub-Assembly Part number 110 has the below BOM (parts) :

  • 1 no. Part 1101
  • 1 no. Part 1102

Part 1101 is a bought out with price Rs. 100
Part 1102 is a bought out, Rs. 50 , but there are 2 additional Job-Work operations (say turning Rs. 10 + polishing Rs. 5) done on that part

Hence, I will make a PO & receive 1 no. of Part 1101 & 1 nos of Part 1102. Then I will make a Job Work Order for Turning + Polishing (Rs. 10 + 5) & send 1 nos of Part 1102 to my vendor on Delivery challan. I will then receive these items into my inventory with the SAME PART NUMBER 1102.

Now, how do i make this BOM structure and process such that if I query for the costing of Part 110, the cost must total as 100 + 50 + 10 + 5 = 165 ?

@khushi thats how it works in ERPNext

Did you try making the BOMs? Are you stuck somewhere?
