I am trying to add a 3rd party js which uses jquery-ui.js… once it is added in hooks.py the UI stops working and crashed.
Any suggestions how to add Jquery-UI in this?

Hard to say. We just retired JQuery UI in v8. It is very old and there are many newer better components now!
