Leads to follow-up today + Today's new leads -Dynamic filter list view

Hi,

Any ideas for the below use case
For any CRM - Sales Person , it is crucial for him to know his task today.
He would like to know in Lead Doctype
a) today’s new lead +
b) existing leads to be followed up today based on Next Contact Date field?

How to achieve this without customization ? ,
few observations :

  1. If we can have dynamic filter on today’s date then user can set Next Contact Date range for today (as it is datetime field) and save filter : Today’s Follow-up

  2. Using ToDo doctype is not a convenient approach.

Current workaround is to save filter on Next Contact Date and change the date everyday , which is not a good UX.
