In ERPNext, I want to create a field called “Leave Delegation During Leave” so that each employee can select the person who will take their position when they are absent. I created a field with the name “Leave Delegation During Leave”, set the field type to Link, and assigned the Doctype to Department. However, I want to ensure that employees in a department only have access to view and select employees within their own department.
So anyone know how to achieve that.

In the leave application, here is the field that I created Leave Delegation, allowing each employee to select the colleague who will work in their place. However, employees cannot see other employees’ details like HR can.
To resolve this, I selected Ignore User Permission for the field. Now, I can see some employees, but not all. It seems like there is some kind of filter being applied unexpectedly.
