How can we limit set of users or a role from “Assign +” in some DocTypes?
For example, we want Sales Managers to be able to Assign an Opportunity to Sales User, but we do not want Sales User to be able to assign any other user for an Opportunity.
One solution I found is that you can check/uncheck whether to show the sidebar to any particular Role. So the sidebar will not show, and the assigned to field will not show. I am attaching Screenshots. I restricted the sidebar for Project User (Role). Uncheck from both List and Form Settings.
