Link manually two docs

hi,

how can I link two docs?

It may sound a little bit strange to ask, but let me explain:

someone made a purchase receipt status=to bill
someone else made a purchase invoise not from purchase receipt but from purchase invoice->new. Stauts=paid.

can I link together the two? I expect the status of purchase receipt to be “completed”

Hi @hiousi! In ERPNext, you can either create Invoice from PR or create PR from Invoice for this to be linked since the items, qty and other necessary information must be the same for both. Is this not possible for your usecase?

You suggest me to delete PR or PI to recreate it from the other? but:

  • the invoice is paid, can not delete
  • the purchase receipt has got stock entry linked, can not delete
