My Load Average in htop is higher than 1, and sometimes goes up to 4. How can I possible fix this?

that is a very broad question with too little details. The load average results from CPU/RAM/disk factors. Is your CPU load high, how many cores do you have and what process causes it? You may want to share your htop screenshot for a quick overview. Often, this can also be caused by slow or damaged disks…
By the way, a load average above 1 does not always need to be bad. CPU load average of 1 on a 1 core system means 100% use, on a 2 core system, that is only halfway used… Put the load average in relation to the resources you have available…
