I’m currently evaluating ERPNext for our company and it seems like great program, but I miss one important feature.
When I place an item on stock I need to be able to specify where in the stock it is located. Later when I deliver the item (or use it in production), the location should be shown.
Some companies have fixed locations for each item, but this would result in too many empty locations in the warehouse. The information needs to be saved for each stock entry.
Maybe it’s possible to add a field in the ‘Stock Entry Detail’, and then show this information at the time of delivery. But the problem is when I deliver and there are many stock entries for one item. Then I need to be able to choose a specific one.
Any ideas how to achieve this?
