ERPnext is moving fast.Kudos to the Team and the Community.
In maintenance module,it is good to add Asset Log just as we have Vehicle Log in Fleet Management to tract vital information about the asset and record the maintenance expense which should be linked to GL…
From maintenance schedule let make it a possibility to create a Work Order/Material Request for the maintenance.
Issue and Communication as presently in Support Module should be integrated in the Maintenance Module so that issues raised by the Asset User can be assigned to Engineer that will handle the work and communication can be documented

I think there is some movement towards including this in the enhancement of the manufacturing module.

Okay, that maybe a bit tricky and may fall off the cracks. But we’ve been talking about the manufacturing module for longer than a year, let’s see if we can get it off the ground and make the asset maintenance part generic enough for any asset.
