"Make Accounting Entry For Every Stock Movement" is hidden in version 8

Why “Make Accounting Entry For Every Stock Movement” check box under “Accounts Setting” is hidden in version 8.

since itsenabled by default, how do I disable it.

Isn’t it the same as Perpetual Inventory? If yes, it has move to the Company screen now. Which is great because within an instance you can decide different setup for different companies.
