We are working on Appraisal module in ERPNext v15. We created employees with option “Create User Permission” in employee module and selected “Hide descendant records of For Value” option. I also updated the “report to” filed with Reporting manager name. Now reporting manager is not able to view is reportee name in employee module or his appraisal detail from his login. I enabled “Hide descendant records of For Value” option since Manager is able to view the payslip of his subordinates.
