Managing a multi-brand business

Need advice from experienced guys here. I plan to implement ERPNext a Apparel Manufacturer and Retailer. The catch here is that the Client has 4 brands and he wants to see Profit & Loss for each Brand separately. The company has its retail operations in 2 cities and the client also wants separate Profit & Loss for the cities. So in the end he also wants to know how each brand is performing in either of the cities. I just cannot get my head around how to use Cost Centers efficiently to tackle this tacky situation. Kindly help me out.

Cost Center could be the branches in the cities and Items would be unique for different brands I assume (this could give you profit and loss after combining a few reports like Gross Profit, Sales etc. based on Item ID)
