Managing Leave Policies across multiple years

Hi, please help me resolve an issue.

I have a Leave Policy Assignment for 2024, and before the request shown in the screenshot, I created a new one for 2025 with a carryover of the leave type.

How is it best to handle such a case? So that the Employee can take leave for both this year and the next.

There is no direct solution.

The employee needs to take the first part of their leave this year, then a Leave Policy assignment should be made for the next year, and after that, they can request leave for the next year.

This is the best solution I have found and currently use.
