Thanks for the information but in this guide it has version 12 and I am needing version 11 but I have not been able to get it.
I think most of the requirements will be the same for python 2, the only thing i believe you should try is pulling from branch 11 instead of branch 12.
use
bench init --frappe-branch version-11 frappe-bench
instead of
bench init --frappe-branch version-12 frappe-bench
