Manufacturing - Partial Completion of Work Order

Hey everyone!

I was just wondering when ERPNext started allowing the partial completion of work orders. As far as I knew, if a work order had 100 qty to produce and we give 50 qty in the finishing stock entry, the remaining 50 qty worth of raw materials would be considered as process loss and the work order would be completed. The valuation of the 50 produced qty would also be doubled (taking the additional process lost materials valuation as well.)

However now it seems the work order just stops and there is no process loss and the produced qty gets updated as expected.

Was it a change to any of the settings, or a patch update Iā€™m unaware of?

It seems This is due to patch updates. Now we can submit partial work order through stock entry type Manufacture. However there are still a many issues that need to be fixed. & I hope Frappe Team is continuely working upon this module.
