Don’t be too disappointed. In my opinion Frappe Marketplace adds very little value to apps that are not built by Frappe.
Just try to install an app from the marketplace and you’ll see only “rocket scientists” will be able to complete the task. Try converting a site using a standard bench into a private beach. The entire process is convoluted and not intuitive.
When first setting up a site, the user should clearly be warned they won’t be able to install non-frappe branded apps without first creating the site in a private bench.
Imagine if Android phones had to be rooted to use the Play Store or iOS devices had to use TestFlight.
I’m also facing a similar situation with my Swift Theme app on the Frappe Marketplace.
The app has been in “In Review” status for more than three weeks now, but I haven’t received any update or feedback regarding the review.
I understand that the review process may take some time, but I wanted to check if there is currently a backlog or if anything is required from my side to move the review forward.
Could someone from the Frappe team please provide an update or guidance on the expected review timeline?
