Material request : Item must be a Purchased or Sub-Contracted Item

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a material request from a Sale Order for an item that is not in stock.

I haven’t set any custom workflow yet so basically the flow I used was:

Quote => Sale Order => “make / Material Request”.

I am now on the Material Request form, but when I try to save it, I have the following error:

“Item must be a Purchased or Sub-Contracted Item on row X”

It works fine with other items. I checked the configuration of the Macbook Pro item and i couldn’t find anything different from other items.

(I am a new user so I can’t attach more screenshots :cry: )

Any idea how to fix this issue?

@MaxenceD, go to the “Stock > Item > Macbook Pro”

Go to the “Purchase Details in Mackbook Pro”, and mark “Is Purchase Item”
