Merge Left Employee with newely Created One

I have an Employee that was left and now he rejoined the company.

the HR staff was also changed so they didn’t know he had an employee on the system

is there a way to merge the new created employee with the old one ?!

Yes, if the old Employee record still exists, you can open the new Employee record, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and select Rename.

In the dialog that opens, enter the name (ID) of the old Employee record and enable the Merge option. This will merge the new record into the old one and update all references to point to the original Employee.

As a best practice, make sure to take a backup before performing the merge, as this operation cannot be easily undone.
