Merge similar account heads

Does it merge similar account heads for example
if I select this check box in account settings and make any transaction in cash will it consider this transaction in assets…?

Hi,

System will merge multiple rows with same account code in Single line, while posting the accounting entries if you enable this option.

but there is no account code…?

Hi,

If your chart of account is without code, in that case the system will merge multiple rows with the same account name in single row.
