Migrate from 3 to 4

I'm going to be installing erpnext 4 on a new server.  What's the best option to migrate the data from the erpnext 3 server to the new erpnext 4 server?  Can I just dump the database and import it onto the new server or should I do the data import tool?  Thanks!

3-4 migration scripts are part of the version 4 patches.

Don't do either - use the bench
