Migration for deprecation of old tools

Hi everyone,

I am using ERPNext and saw an awesome tool leave allocation tool, in master branch. But in develop branch we dont have leave allocation tool instead we have leave policy and a mechanism of assigning that policies to each employee.
Just a quick thought, what will happen with leave quota if i start using leave allocation tool, and after a while we get a new release, that have leave policy mechanism. Do i need to migrate data manually or we’ll have a patch for new updates.

Since Frappe hosts and supports say 1000+ user accounts on erpnext.com, rest assured they will write a patch so you need not worry about data migration.

For a self hosted instance, but only in the case of a custom app, any migration issues you face are your own responsibility.
