Missing Minimum quantity from Item Price

The documentation discusses the Minimum Quantity field on Item Price, which is missing in the application.

The following is an excerpt from the documentation:

2.3 Minimum quantity

This is the minimum quantity of items to be transacted for this price to be applicable and updated in the Item Price list.

Am I missing anything?

Here is the scenario of how I want to define the item price:

If I buy from supplier XYZ and buy 10 or more quantities then the price is $40, if I buy 100 or more then the price is $35 and if I buy 1000 or more then the price is $29.

Is this field decomissioned or are we missing a point?

For me, the solution was to use the Promotional Scheme doctype to achieve what I wanted.

Item price doctype does not cover Qty or Amount ranges for prices controls. It is infact Pricing Rule which offers you to set ranges based on qty or amount field for each ltem.

Item price gets effect under a price list when pricing rule is active.
