I am new to this forum and was searching for ‘Mode of Payment’ subject.
I have created 4 mode of payment as: Cheque, PDC, Cash and Bank transfer.
When I select bank transfer as mode of payment and try to make the payment entry, what option can I enter under “voucher type”?
If I select bank voucher, it is asking for cheque number and date where as the transaction is through direct bank transfer (no cheque number).
Would much appreciate any guidance for the above.
Thanks/JV

Hello, Cheque no. and date fields are mandatory only when Voucher Type is "Bank Voucher". We will remove this validation in next cleanup of Journal Voucher form. For now, please select Journal Voucher as Voucher Type and submit entry. Voucher type selected as no effect on ledger posting.
