In ERPNext’s ledger account, the current format displays both debit and credit amounts for the opening and closing balances, which may create confusion. In Tally, however, the ledger only displays either the debit or credit amount for these balances. We would like ERPNext to adopt a similar approach, showing only the debit or credit amount in the opening and closing balances. Please refer to the attached Tally images & erpnext as a reference.
