I am new to ERPNext and I have been trying to figure out Sales Tax setup for USA and I am a bit confused. I would appreciate some guidance on this:
In our state each Item can have a different Sales tax rate.
Food items vs Non-Food items have different rates 7% and 4%
I need to be able to sell food & non-food items on the same invoice or POS sale
I am trying to setup each item with a separate rate but it keeps applying only one rate to entire order.
Also is it possible to show the sales tax amount on each line of invoice?
I would appreciate any guidance on this.
