In our agricultural inputs trading business, we operate through product divisions such as seeds, pesticides, and fertilizers. A single customer may be serviced by multiple salespersons, each responsible for a specific product division. However, the ERPNext system requires that the total sales contribution across all salespersons for a transaction must add up to exactly 100%. In our business model, each salesperson contributes 100% to the sales of their respective division, which makes it challenging to use the system as intended. Since the system does not allow setting individual contributions at 100% per salesperson when multiple are involved, it becomes difficult to accurately map our sales activities. We would like to understand the rationale behind enforcing the total contribution to strictly equal 100%.
Anyone has solution for the above please let us know.
